Ten years of performance-based art and video (2006-2016)! Some of these videos go back to my Art college days in Melbourne. This was a time when I still had an active VHS and DVD player, but not a Facebook or YouTube or Vimeo account and, I was a little obsessed with a certain Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western called “Once Upon a Time in the West”.
The art forms and platforms of video and performance have changed so dramatically in this decade, that even revisiting this post in 2024 feels a little bewildering.
