I’m drifting across the digital pages of several books at the moment (Lord of the Rings, One River, Rubbish Theory, Italian Fairy Tales…). It’s an attempt to tackle my ever-growing list of ‘To read and to revisit’.

However, I must say that despite my current scattered filtration system, I managed to read ‘The Hobbit’ to my daughter. I can’t believe how it good it still is from the last read twenty years ago! I’m still processing it a month later. That book just makes me want to take off my shoes and walk!

I am slowly getting out and about my new home here in Portugal with my camera. For a small area, there are lots of little spaces to explore. The following photos are some of the objects of interest that I’ve been encountering on my daily errands about town.

About Michael Meneghetti

The little personal details can often be overlooked in the hustle of the city, but somewhere on the edge I always manage to stumble upon a little bit of visual gold! When I can, I make performances that explore a state of masculinity and curate video art for public spaces.
